If you are curious as to what happened in chapter 1, PM me and I'll send it to you. It's quite long, so be prepared for a long and perhaps somewhat boring read.
(Note for players of chapter 1:)
Sorry, but due to moving over to this site and various old members leaving us, we'll have to start from the end of the meeting Conet held.
Rules of The Game
1. I am the DM, as in the person in charge. What I say goes. No exceptions.
2. Do not God-Mod. Godmodding is when you state that you do something that is normally left up to chance and/or the actions of another, such as hitting an opponent with a punch, or a dice roll. Godmodding is punished by having something adverse happen to counter-act what good happened to the Godmodder.
Ex. James kicks Dane in the stomach, sending him flying into the wall.
Punishment Example: (For this we assume Dane is a character controlled by the DM and not a player, so he is allowed to Godmod in times such as this.)
Dane catches James’s leg and flips him over to the ground.
Ex2. James pulls the lever on the slot machine. What appears before him is nothing but 7s. “Jackpot” he says satisfactorily.
Punishment 2: The machine seems to be out of coins temporarily, and the buzzer for jackpots on top is broken. Sadly, nobody saw you win it, so you have no proof that you achieved a jackpot.
3. Do not Meta-Game. Meta-Gaming is when you use outside knowledge, as in information that your character doesn’t know to aid you in certain circumstances. For example, let us say that the player controlling ‘James’ knows that an ambush is set up ahead from reading previous posts by other players. Therefore, they have James send a Pokemon around the corner to counter-act it, something that James would normally not do. This is Meta-Gaming.
4. If you are absent (Do not post) for more than 24 hours, then depending on the situation I will either temporarily control your character, or temporarily act as if your character is of no importance to what is happening. However, if your character is doing something that involves no other players, and your absence does not conflict with any other things currently happening in the story, then nothing will happen to your character until you return and post.
5. This world follows the normal laws of physics in our world, as well as several other laws created simply to explain certain things in the world. If the way something happens does not make sense to you, or if you wonder if something is possible, please PM me. I will be glad to help you understand something or to fix something that I said that didn't make sense.
6. Whenever something is happening to someone that no one else should know about, it will be placed in a spoiler tag with that player's character's name on it. Sometimes spoiler tags have multiple names on it. To open a spoiler tag, all you have to do is click on it.
7. Be kind to your fellow members. If someone does something wrong, I will deal with it.
8. Have fun. If you’re not having fun, then tell me. I’ll try my best to fix it.
